Visitors Care Insurance is a scheduled or fixed benefits program with lifetime maximum limits or caps for each medical condition as specified in the schedule of benefits table available in the policy brochure.

Visitors Care policy is suited for non-US citizens visiting USA / intl. travel outside America. Visitors Care travel medical insurance plan offers maximum benefit of US$25,000, US$50,000 or US$100,000 for the life of the IMG Visitors Care plan with various deductible options of US$0, US$50 or US$100.

Visitors Care Plan offers optional Heart Care Plus Rider. In the event the insured person experiences a Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) or Stroke while the certificate is in force, and the condition is deemed to be pre-existing, the IMG VisitorsCare insurance will cover those expenses associated with said condition up to a maximum of $5,000 for ages 0 – 69 and up to $2,500 for ages 70+.

IMG VisitorsCare Insurance plan provides coverage for foreign nationals in the USA, and as well as worldwide, as long as the insured is outside his or her country of residence. Visitors Care Insurance Plan Overview

IMG Visitors Care Insurance plan is short-term scheduled benefits plan with lifetime maximum capping for each medical condition as listed in the summary of benefits. The plan is designed for budget conscious non-U.S. residents who need temporary medical insurance as visitors to America, or while traveling for business or pleasure anywhere outside of their home country. Plan is suitable for relatives/parents visiting USA or going abroad to any foreign destination country.

  • Eligibility: Non-US residents as visitors to USA, or for international travel outside home country of residence.

  • Policy Maximum: Plan offers maximum coverage from US$25,000, US$50,000 or US$100,000. For travelers over 80, the maximum coverage is US$10,000.
  • Plan Deductible: Choice of US$0, US$50, US$100 per injury or sickness/illness. For travelers over 70, US$0 deductible option not available.
  • PPO Network: No PPO network, seek treatment at any doctor, clinic or hospital.
  • Duration: Minimum period of 5 days to initial maximum period up to 364 days (1 year), renewable for total period of 2 years (24 months).
  • Pre-Existing Conditions: Acute onset of pre-existing condition coverage up to plan maximum selected is available with this plan for ages below 70 years. Only Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition is covered, which is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or reoccurrence that is of short duration, is rapidly progressive, and requires urgent medical care. A pre-existing condition that is chronic or congenital, or that gradually becomes worse over time is not covered. This does not include any condition for which, as of the effective date, the insured person knew or reasonably foresaw he/she would receive, knew he/she should receive, had scheduled, or were told that he/she must or should receive, any medical care, drugs or treatment.
  • Coverage Benefits: Covers Hospital Room and Board charges, Intensive Care unit charges, Local Ambulance, Physician visits, Surgeon Fees, Pre-admission tests and Hospital emergency room are covered, Diagnostics: X-Rays, Labs, Prescription Drugs included. Please refer to the “Summary of Benefits” table available in the plan brochure for entire list of covered benefits and the specified limits.

Deductible Age 15 days to Age 79 years:
Under Plans A, B or C, Deductible choices are $0, $50, or $100 per incident/accident.
Age 80 years of age and older:

Note: Only one deductible per insured member or three (3) deductibles per family must be satisfied during twelve (12) months of continuous coverage.
After the first twelve (12) months of continuous coverage, a new deductible will apply for any period of continuous coverage thereafter.

Heart Care Plus Rider Heart Plus Rider Benefit Amount maximums by age:
Age 0 to 69 years: Up to $5,000.
Age 65+ years: Up to $2,500.
Note: In the event an insured person experiences a Stroke or Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) while the certificate is in force, and the condition is deemed to be pre-existing, the plan will cover those expenses associated with said condition up to a maximum benefit amount stated by age.
Charges incurred that are directly related to a Myocardial Infarction or Cerebrovascular Accident, which is determined to be a Pre-existing Condition, as defined herein, will be reimbursed up to the maximum as shown in the provision for Heart Plus Rider.
Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke, CVA, Transient Ischemic Attack, TIA): A disruption of blood flow to the brain resulting in neurologic changes, either permanent (CVA) or temporary (TIA). This can include an ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke or bleeding due to an aneurysm.
Myocardial Infarction (MI, Acute Myocardial Infarction, AMI, Non-ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction, STEMI, Heart Attack): An acute interruption of vascular perfusion of any portion of the myocardium (muscles of the heart) due to either an occlusion of a coronary artery or to vascular spasm causing damage to the myocardium.
Charges are subject to Deductible or Coinsurance, Usual, Reasonable, and Customary (URC), and maximum Limits per Period of Coverage or if indicated, per Lifetime.

Claims & Reimbursement Download and print the IMG Claims Form to submit proof of claims for review & reimbursement.
Submit the completed the proof of claim form and file along with the itemized medical bill/s to the plan administrator.
The insured member and/or physician, hospital and other healthcare and medical service providers and suppliers shall have ninety (90) days from the date a claim is incurred.
Note: Plan does not guarantee payment to a healthcare service provider or facility or insured individual for medical expenses until the plan administrator determines it is an eligible expense.
Direct cashless billing is also available when the healthcare service provider is directly paid for the services rendered.
Cancellation & Refund If any claims have been filed with the plan administrator, the premium is fully earned and is non-refundable.

If no claims have been filed with the Company,
1. A cancellation fee of US$25.00 will be charged; and
2. Only whole or full month premiums will be considered as refundable.

Pre-existing Condition: Any Injury, Illness, sickness, disease, or other physical, medical, Mental or Nervous Disorder, condition or ailment that, with reasonable medical certainty, existed at the time of Application or at any time during the three (3) years prior to the Effective Date of this insurance, whether or not previously manifested, symptomatic or known, diagnosed, Treated, or disclosed to the Company prior to the Effective Date, and including any and all subsequent, chronic or recurring complications or consequences related thereto or resulting or arising therefrom.
